About The Trek
Gidara Bugyal is often considered one of the most beautiful and expansive high-altitude meadows in Uttarakhand, larger and more pristine than the famous Dayara and Bedni Bugyals.
Located near Gangotri, this trek takes you through dense forests to vast, rolling green meadows that seem to touch the sky. It offers unobstructed views of Gangotri, Jogin, and Srikanth peaks. Being less commercialized, it offers a raw and peaceful Himalayan experience.
Trek Highlights
- One of the largest high-altitude meadows
- Pristine and uncrowded
- Spectacular views of Gangotri range
- Golden meadows in autumn
- Challenging ridge walks
